The Active Analysis workshops were some of the best I’ve ever attended. The Ondervinden team were skilled yet down to earth and so personable - so whatever your background or the level of knowledge you came with, you could be fully engaged and never felt left out. The time flew by and the sessions were fantastic! Would 100% recommend.

Workshops: Active Analysis

Courses and sessions for trained actors who wish to keep their skills sharp and fresh.

Work through a course of training dedicated to releasing spontaneity in text performance through a new method based on improvisation and Stanislavski's Active Analysis.

What can you expect? This training aims to increase your:

  • spontaneity and openness of reactions

  • freedom of imagination

  • presence of mind and self in scene

Based on research at the front of the fields of neuroscience, cognition and consciousness in Actor Training, this new training method is playful, anarchic and puts the learning process of the individual at it's heart.

Spring Season

Back by popular demand, we are very excited to be hosting our Spring Season of workshops, continuing to explore Stanislavski’s exceptional method of text exploration: Active Analysis.

Each week thoroughly introduces the basic method, and goes on to explore a different extraction of the practice:

22nd Jan: Duologues, Listening and Responding for Actors
29 Jan: Monologues and Character Development
5 Feb: New Writing and Text Development
